The Standard Whips are equipped with a fixed angle base and should be used with low profile Runabouts, Center Consoles, Water Ski and Bass Boats.. They maintain a safe distance between your boat and the dock to avoid damage. Standard duty bases are a fixed angle base which positions the whips out over the water and applies continuous force to keep your boat away from the dock.
